Strength

I have chosen Strength as the image to introduce you to the local environment that I live in, I hope it posses as many questions for you as it did for me after I took the photo.

I live in rural area just outside of Melbourne Population 4 million and it was chosen to be one of the lungs for the bustling city. We have lots of trees, small farms and lots of natural Flora and Forna but when you scratch the surface you discover both the Strengths and weekness of this beautiful area.

So for example once the white fella had taken over this area gold was discovered as with many country towns around Melbourne. The place was dug up and logged to within an inch of its natarul life then the miners left and few families stayed on and farmed some of the land and a lot reverted back to the bush and covered over some of the scars. I'm hoping through my Photos to show in may be an artistic way the things l love, the small things that show strength,resilance and beauty in our small community.

I would also like to acknowledge pass and present Wurundjeri as the traditional custodians of the land.
